Putin holds phone conversation with Kazakh President Tokayev — Kremlin
The two leaders discussed current matters pertaining to the preparations for Vladimir Putin’s upcoming state visit to Astana and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held there.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kremlin press service reported.
“During the phone call, Vladimir Putin wished Kassym-Jomart Tokayev a happy birthday. The President of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received during his stay in Moscow to attend the official events marking the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory,” the press service said.
